First, please register and log in to Soundemy. Once logged in, according to your subscription plan, various music lessons will be displayed on each course page. Choose the lesson you want to take and start learning. Each lesson comes with a chat feature. An AI, trained on the lecture content, acts as a virtual instructor, providing answers to questions and feedback on assignments through chat.

For more detailed instructions on how to use Soundemy, please refer to the ‘How to Use‘ page. This FAQ primarily answers questions related to subscriptions and applications.

Monthly payments can be made using a credit card or through PayPal.

You can cancel your plan through the subscription menu in your account page.
Select ‘Cancel’ from the submenu as shown in the image below.

Please note that monthly fees that have already been paid are not refundable. For instance, if you are enrolled in a plan with a monthly payment due on the 15th of each month and you cancel on the 1st, you can still attend the course until the 14th, but there will be no refund for the monthly fee during this period.

If you are paying for your subscription through PayPal, please note that cancelling directly via PayPal will not correctly process the cancellation. Ensure to cancel from the Soundemy side.

You can find the list of bookmarked lessons on the bookmark page within your account page.

Yes, it is possible. When you apply for the higher plan from the plan page, your plan will automatically switch to it. Alternatively, you can check your currently subscribed plan on the account page, and you can also apply for an upgrade using the upgrade button available on that page. If you upgrade your plan, the monthly payment date and amount will be reset. Please note that any fees already paid are non-refundable.

Yes, you can downgrade back to your lower-tier plan. When you switch subscriptions, the monthly subscription will start immediately with the new start date and amount. Please note that we cannot refund the monthly fee that has already been paid.

We are very sorry, but it is not possible. Each user needs to make their own individual subscription.

No, you cannot. Currently, Soundemy has both English and Japanese sites, but as they are separate sites, a separate subscription is required for each.

2~3 per week, Soundemy adds a new music lesson video. The Daily Lesson is available for all subscribed users include Free Plan users to watch.
Paid users can repeatedly watch past videos during their subscription period. Additionally, as the lesson content is learned by an AI virtual instructor, paid users can ask questions about the lecture contents.

No, you cannot. Chatting with the AI virtual music instructor is available only with the Pro or Premium plans.

The popular lessons is determined by the number of bookmarks. Please actively bookmark your favorite lessons.

No, that is not possible. Soundemy is designed to help people who love music to create, perform, and enjoy their own music, and it does not support AI music generation. However, it can assist with suggestions for chord progressions, composing melodies, and providing ideas for arrangements.
